Movie Title Stills Collection
It’s dreary Wednesday here on the east coast — the kind of day you want to plant yourself firmly on the couch and watch a good movie. Unfrotunately, we have to work, and we assume you do too, but you can get lost perusing movie title stills from the last 90 years over on the Movie Title Stills Collection site.
Want more on movie titles? Check out Michael Bierut’s post on Napolean Dynamite or his review of the graphics in Errol Morris’s Fog of War.
If you want movies that are graphic wonders, not just in their title screens, read Jessica Helfand’s reviews of Dispicable Me and The Incredibles.
And of course, Rick Poynor has a rich archive of essays on movies. A few of our favorites: True Stories, Shooting the Past and The Back of Beyond.
