Episode 135: Home for the Holidays

Michael rejoins Jessica for the last episode of 2020, to look back at a difficult year that disrupted so many routines, including sitting down every other week to record an episode of this podcast:
It's actually become hard for me just to understand the value of listening to myself talk, hearing my own voice…and the assumption it implies that everything I say is worth listening to.

I've had some really rewarding experiences where I found myself in situations where I've been able to just lurk on the outskirts of things and listen and learn and not feel that I was there to take control of the situation or even make an occasional speech, but just to drink it in.
